Supported Employment

Goodwill’s Supported Employment (SE) Programs provide services to support part-time and full-time paid employment for adults with developmental disabilities, referred by the San Diego Regional Center or the California Department of Rehabilitation. The program offers specialized job training and individually tailored support FREE of charge to eligible participants.

Goodwill’s Supported Employment Program is designed to provide a high level of integration with nondisabled co-workers on the job.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

Eligible participants are evaluated and supervised by a job coach (Employment Training Specialist) and are served individually or in a small group. Program participants must be able to meet the essential functions of the program/job with or without reasonable accommodations and work in the United States legally (proof of citizenship or immigration status required).
