Partner with Us – Goodwill Industries of San Diego County

Partner with Us

You and Goodwill, together we make a difference in our community. Below you will find many opportunities to partner with Goodwill and help us achieve our mission of providing employment and training opportunities for people with disabilities and other barriers to employment.

BUSINESS PARTNERSHIPS

Since 1930 Goodwill Industries of San Diego County has been getting people jobs. With more than 80 years of experience working in the San Diego community we can effectively partner with your business to recruit talented staff.  We can help you fill key positions in your company.  Come talk with us about how Goodwill can free you up to focus on the development of your business.

Contact: Aron Pritchard, Customized Program and Business Development Manager, at apritchard@sdgoodwill.org or (619) 417-7993.
Or complete a Contact Us Form and select “I am interested in a Business Partnership.”

SCHOOL DONATION DRIVES

Host a donation drive with Goodwill. We will coordinate, plan, and provide all necessary advertising/promotional materials. Your only responsibility will be to promote the event to students and staff. As a benefit for partnering with us, we will help fund classroom materials such as books, technology, and other school supplies. Also, incentives will be given to students and teachers for their participation.

Contact: Kim Veeder, Community Relations Coordinator, at kveeder@sdgoodwill.org or (619) 225-2200 x 310.
Or complete a Contact Us Form and select “I want to host a School Donation Drive.”

COMMUNITY EVENTS OR DONATION DRIVES

Goodwill participates in community events and coordinates donation drives throughout the county. You can help Goodwill achieve its purpose and mission of improving the employability of individuals with disabilities and other barriers to employment by sponsoring one of the following:

  • Host an Informational Booth/Table
Help educate your target audience about Goodwill and our programs.  Promote reduce, reuse and recycle, employ individuals with disabilities, jobs for veterans, and much more. We can provide trained staff to work with you and all the necessary equipment and materials.
  • Coordinate a Donation Drive for Your Community
We can provide trained staff to coordinate and work at your event. Goodwill will provide the equipment and materials necessary to ensure your event is professionally executed.  In addition, donation drives can be specifically designed to collect specific items, such as electronics (working or not).

If you are interested in partnering with us, please complete a Contact Us Form and select “I want to schedule a Community Event or Donation Drive.” We look forward to discussing how we can make your event a success!

CORPORATE GIVING

Goodwill needs your surplus inventory, your unclaimed or returned merchandise, even your lost and found items! The sale or recycling of these items will help to fund our programs and services. We would love to discuss how your contribution can make a difference in our community. Your items will support Goodwill’s mission, they won’t end up in a landfill, and you will receive a receipt for your tax-deductible donation.

Contact: Kim Veeder, Community Relations Coordinator, at kveeder@sdgoodwill.org or (619) 225-2200 x 310.

UNATTENDED DONATION CENTER PARTNERSHIPS

Encourage your employees, tenants, and customers to reuse, reduce, and recycle by providing an Unattended Donation Center on your property at no cost to you. Items donated to Goodwill fund programs that improve the employability of individuals in San Diego County. These convenient bins make it easier than ever to donate clothing, linens, accessories, shoes, and jewelry. We have indoor and outdoor options with sensor technology that notifies Goodwill when the bin is full and ready for pickup.

If you are interested in partnering with us, please complete a Contact Us Form and select “I want an Unattended Donation Center.”
